Location: Mesa, AZ | Payrate: $24-$31/hour | Schedule: 4:30pm - 3am

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry leader in high-efficiency, sustainable HVAC solutions to hire an experienced and detail-driven Painter 3. This senior-level role is ideal for a skilled industrial painter who takes pride in delivering exceptional finishes and leading projects while contributing to innovative HVAC manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do

As a Painter 3, you’ll oversee painting, foaming, and finishing processes for custom HVAC systems and components while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee preparation, painting, foaming, and finishing operations for HVAC systems and components

  • Design and develop painting systems and procedures for various HVAC projects

  • Select appropriate coatings and application techniques based on materials and environmental requirements

  • Inspect HVAC components to determine optimal surface preparation and finishing methods

  • Coordinate painting schedules to ensure timely project completion and efficient resource utilization

  • Perform advanced painting tasks including:

    • Intricate detailing

    • High-durability coatings

    • Protective finishes

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure aesthetic, functional, and durability standards are met

  • Ensure all work complies with company quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on painting equipment

  • Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial painting experience

  • At least 2–3 years in an advanced or senior painter role

  • Extensive knowledge of industrial painting techniques, coatings, foams, and materials

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards, environmental regulations, and PPE requirements

  • Ability to pass truck and crane certification training upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certification in painting, coatings, or related field

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on industrial role requiring physical activity and adherence to safety standards.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour
