Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned are, the Nursing Assistant (NA) performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice. Accepts assignments in hospital units for which qualified through completion of unit specific checklist

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED preferred
3 months skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or current transcript of 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position
Current BLS certification
