About the Role

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our team and take ownership of high-value customer relationships within our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) business. In this role, you’ll act as the primary liaison between our customers and internal teams, ensuring both day-to-day excellence and long-term growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (JOB DUTIES)

Customer Ownership amp; Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key clients

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships across customer functions and leadership levels

  • Coordinate internal teams to meet customer requirements and drive improvement

  • Align internal operations with the customer’s product lifecycle and expectations

Sales amp; Strategic Planning
  • Own customer sales budgets, forecasts, and long-term growth plans

  • Develop and execute account strategies for expansion and retention

  • Support pricing, RFQ, and contract negotiations

  • Conduct market and customer analysis to inform planning and decision-making

  • Feed customer insights into broader company forecasting and capacity strategies

Performance amp; Profitability Management
  • Drive account-level revenue and margin growth in line with business goals

  • Ensure on-time delivery, cost, quality, and innovation metrics are met or exceeded

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

  • Lead regular business reviews (QBRs) and communicate trends, risks, and wins

  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity and communications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years in a B2B Key Account Management or technical sales role

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of production processes, supply chain operations, ERP systems, and customer fulfillment
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding of cost/margin drivers

  • Excellent negotiation and advanced customer service skills

  • Strong data analysis skills; ability to turn insight into action

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate across all levels

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

  • Effective verbal and written communication in English

  • Travel and relocation as business needs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, analysis)

  • Familiarity with PCBA, circuit boards, electronic equipment, and EMS processes

  • Knowledge of materials, production workflows, quality systems, and cost control

WORKING CONDITIONS
Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  1. Primary work is performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing and office environment

  2. Must be able to sit for extended periods (with or without reasonable accommodation)

  3. Occasional travel to customer sites is required; possible international travel (one to two times per year) must have valid passport
