Job description

Our client in the Cranston, RI, area  is seeking an experienced PCB Rework Technician to join a growing electronics manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform hand soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Install and replace surface mount (SMT) and through-hole electronic components.
  • Read and follow Assembly Process Instructions (APIs), work instructions, and assembly drawings.
  • Use soldering irons, microscopes, hand tools, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work with small and delicate electronic components while avoiding damage to surrounding parts.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support additional manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous hand soldering experience on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Experience soldering SMT and/or through-hole components.
  • Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.
  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Pay $22 - $26 / hour depending on experience
