Electronics Quality Technician – Direct Hire
A home safety product manufacturer is looking for a Quality Technician in Ashland, MA, who has hands-on experience with PCB-based electronics. This company is known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the electronics industry.
Shift of the Quality Technician:
M-F 7:00am-4:00pm
Salary of the Quality Technician:
$65,000-$75,000 (Based on experience).
Responsibilities of the Quality Technician:
  • Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Support analysis of returned products (RMA) and in-process failures.
  • Perform PCB rework including component replacement and soldering (SMT and through-hole).
  • Assist engineers with product testing, validation, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams.
Qualifications of the Quality Technician:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 1–3+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support.
  • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Hands-on soldering and PCB rework experience (SMT and/or through-hole preferred).
