Job Opportunity: Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Companion Caregivers

Alvita Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Companion caregivers for cases in the Great Neck area and surrounding Nassau County communities. We are hiring compassionate, reliable professionals with facility and home care experience preferred.

HHA/PCA pay rates differ from the Companion rate of $17/hour.

Details:

  • Cases located in Great Neck and surrounding Nassau County communities
  • Ideal for caregivers commuting from nearby towns such as: Great Neck, Port Washington, Manhasset, Roslyn, Garden City
  • Dayshift and/or Nightshift (8–12 hours available)
  • Monday–Friday availability is preferred, but weekend availability is a plus
  • Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check

Qualifications:

  • Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
  • Must be discrete and professional in all communications, written and verbal
  • Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain
  • Prior home care experience strongly preferred
  • Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
  • Must successfully complete Alvita Care onboarding process to accept cases

All applicants are subject to a phone screening to determine compatibility and overall availability of accommodations for both the caregiver and the agency. Please note that cases with Alvita Care are only available to caregivers who successfully complete the onboarding process.
