SNA/PCA PAY RATE: $16.45 - $22.21 (+ $2.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE)

JOB SUMMARY
Gen Med/Surgical adult unit primarily cares for pre/post surgical patients, including but not limited to: orthopedics,
bariatrics, vascular, neurology, and general surgery. The unit also serves general medical patients with diagnosis, including
but not limited to: sepsis, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, skin & wound conditions, and infections.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process and Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • C.N.A
    • OR be of at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certificate.
    • CNA certification in good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry
  • PCA or SNA- Must have completed one of the following:
    • Patient Care Experience
    • Completed a C.N.A. Program
    • Completed at least sophomore year of a nursing program (SNA)

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
  • CNA certification in good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry (N/A for PCA or SNA)

  • Non-exempt hourly
