Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Range: $25.86 - $43.93 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.
  • Excellent Benefits Package (Health, Dental, Optometry)

  • 1.5 Pay over 8 hrs. and over 40
  • 1.5 Pay Saturday and Sunday
  • 1.5 Pay Holidays + additional OT over 8 hours on holidays

  • PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the skill levels and achieve higher pay.
  • Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.
  • PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends
  • PCA provides Uniforms for Maintenance Technicians

Responsibilities

  • This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Salt Lake City, UT.
  • This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
  • Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.
  • All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ Years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
  • A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
  • The production schedule is 3 shifts. Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change.
  • Be Authorized to work in the US.
  • Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
