Position: PACU RN
Location: City, State
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30)

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be comfortable in a variety of surgical settings, including:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Uro/Gynecology
  • Bariatric Procedures
  • HEENT
  • IR Procedures (port exchange, tdc, fistula, paracentesis, biopsies)
  • Endoscopy (ERCP, colonoscopy, EGD)
  • Level 3 Trauma
  • Some Pediatric Patients
Responsibilities
  • Provide pre and post-operative care for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Float to Preop as needed.
  • Obtain 12 lead EKGs and manage pre/post Cath Lab procedures.
  • Administer medications including IV vasopressors, analgesics, and reversal agents.
  • Conduct pain assessments and manage PCA pumps.
  • Recognize and manage dysrhythmias.
  • Care for ventilated patients and support epidural and general anesthesia protocols.
  • Monitor patients during conscious sedation and provide post-anesthesia care.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar role.
  • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
  • Call Requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks (includes night call for day shift).
  • Open to accommodating scheduling needs, although block scheduling is not available.
  • Must float within the scope to meet facility needs.
  • Pending NM license accepted at time of submission.
