In a PC Refresh role, you'll frequently collaborate with both end users and internal IT teams to ensure smooth deployment of new hardware. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a PC refresh technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a PC Refresh Technician, you need expertise in hardware installation, system imaging, troubleshooting, and typically a relevant IT certification such as CompTIA A+. Familiarity with deployment tools like Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, and asset management systems is commonly required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with end-users are critical soft skills. These capabilities ensure smooth transitions, minimize downtime, and maintain productivity during large-scale hardware or software upgrades.
