Job description

SUMMARY:
Palm Beach Atlantic University is seeking temporary, part-time employees to assist our team during peak times of the year. For example, graduation, camps, or providing additional coverage as necessary.
Essential Competencies:

  • Must collaborate and partner with others to complete tasks and assigned responsibilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment while navigating multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work non-routine hours.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to traverse campus and stairs.
  • Some positions may require the ability to lift/move objects up to 40 pounds and/or climb ladders.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience working in a customer service, educational, marketing, advertising, or event/production environment.
  • In some cases, additional education and/or experience may be required.
