Paymetric Developer - Long Term Contract - US-based Remote
We are seeking a skilled Paymetric Developer to design, implement, and maintain secure, cloud-based payment solutions. The role focuses on integrating Paymetric with enterprise systems, ensuring compliance with payment security standards, and optimizing payment workflows for efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and support Paymetric-based payment processing solutions to ensure secure and efficient transactions.
  • Utilize tokenization technology to safeguard sensitive cardholder data and minimize PCI compliance requirements.
  • Seamlessly integrate Paymetric with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems.
  • Enable transmission of Level II/III data to payment processors to reduce interchange rates and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Adhere to payment security standards (e.g., PCI DSS) and enterprise data protection policies.
  • Work closely with finance, IT, and compliance teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable payment solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to payment workflows, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Required Qualifications
  • 4-8 years of experience in payment processing systems, with at least 2 years focused on Paymetric development.
  • Proficiency in Paymetric platform configuration and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of tokenization and PCI compliance standards.
  • Experience integrating Paymetric with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Level II/III data transmission for interchange rate optimization.
  • Understanding of secure payment gateways and APIs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred
  • Experience with additional payment processing platforms (e.g., CyberSource, Adyen).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET for custom integrations.
