Job description

We are looking for team members who want to be a part of a growing hospitality group! Made up of 5 award-winning brands (Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mike's Subs, Buffalo Wild Wings GO, Limestone BBQ and Bourbon, and Eggspectation) we offer many opportunities for growth across franchise and independent brands.
Position Overview
Our Server's primary focus is to create dining experiences worth celebrating which in turn create loyalty. This position is guest-focused, team-focused, and community-connected. This individual should be outgoing, positive, and make guests feel welcome. This role involves taking food and beverage orders accurately, delivering them in a timely manner, and making sure the needs of the guests are met. In this position, the Server should have an eye for detail, be detail oriented, be able to work well under pressure with hosts/hostesses, cooks, bussers, and management and thrive in a fast paced environment. Servers work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • In a timely manner, provide a warm welcome to guests upon arrival and engage in conversation.
  • Be knowledgeable about food and beverage options and present them in an informational, friendly, and enthusiastic manner
  • Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions pertaining to the food and beverage menus, and be prepared to make suggestions when asked
  • Correctly enter orders into Point of Sale system for transmittal to kitchen staff and in proper sequence and appropriate charges
  • Check guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Regularly check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or additional requests and inform managers as needed
  • Practice safe food and bag handling and cleanliness at all times
  • Encourage contactless payment in brands where it is available or collect and accurately process guest payments by handling money, making necessary changes, and processing credit card transactions
  • Bus tables and ensure table is guest ready for next guest
  • Perform shift change and/or opening or closing duties
  • Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor

Skills and Abilities Required
  • Hospitality Skills: Superior guest service and hospitality skills, engaging guests and customizing their experience
  • Attention to Detail: Skill in time management and organization
  • Knowledge: Understands proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures and basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems
  • Conflict management skills: Analytical skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence in order to recognize and solve
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively and connect with guests and team members
  • Strong Multitasking Ability: Capability to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently while following a specific service time
  • Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in handling payments and calculating tips
  • Guest Service Orientation: Commitment to providing a positive dining experience
  • Previous Experience: Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
  • Working Conditions: Fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring evening and weekend availability. Ability to stand and maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift between 20 to 50 pounds

Education and Experience Required
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 1-2 years experience preferred, but will train
  • ABC Certification - DE
  • Ability to access online scheduling apps
  • Knowledge of RAS (Responsible Alcohol Service) procedures as defined by both federal and state laws
