CAN START NOW DURING SNOW SEASON CURRENTLY HAVE A TREE WORK BACK-LOG AND COULD ALSO WORK SNOW ON-CALL WHEN BACK-LOG IS COMPLETED AND THEN WORK INTO GREEN SEASON.

PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $25-$30 PER HOUR AND IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS YOU HOLD BEYOND THE REQUIRED LICENSES.

Position Summary

Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by the Crew Leader by safely performing the following duties:

Responsibilities

  • Climb trees, using climbing hooks and belts, or climb ladders to gain access to work areas
  • Evaluate tree health for safety of climb
  • Drive company vehicle up to an including a bucket truck as needed - CDL A preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience in tree climbing and rigging
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of basic climbing knots and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations
  • Lift heavy objects over 50 pounds
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (includes a Drug Test)

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • CDL A
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Good work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Familiarity with the techniques and equipment used in landscaping.
  • Ability to handle the physicality of our work: weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking.
