Company Description Production Pattern & Foundry (PPF) is a fully integrated aluminum casting manufacturer specializing in high-quality permanent mold and sand castings for OEMs in automotive, industrial, and other demanding markets. With two foundries, an in-house pattern shop, and complete machining, heat treatment, and finishing capabilities, PPF provides end-to-end production under one roof for greater control, speed, and consistency. The company is engineering-driven, using advanced tools such as MAGMASOFT simulation, 3D scanning, and robust inspection systems to optimize designs before metal is poured. PPFโ€™s certifications to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 reflect a strong commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and data security. Customers rely on PPFโ€™s modern technology and vertically integrated operations to deliver reliable, production-ready aluminum components from prototype through high-volume production.

Role Description The Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mound House, NV. This role is responsible for operating foundry and production equipment such as molding machines, furnaces, trimming tools, and material handling devices in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading molds, monitoring casting processes, performing basic measurements and visual inspections, and documenting production data to support quality and traceability. The Operator collaborates closely with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to identify issues, perform routine housekeeping, and ensure that production schedules and quality targets are met. This position also involves following standardized work instructions, using personal protective equipment correctly, and participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and safety.

  • Strong reliability and time management skills, with the ability to work full shifts, meet deadlines, and support team-based operations.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with supervisors, teammates, and quality or maintenance personnel.
  • Willingness to work in a foundry environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials within safe limits.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, foundry, metalworking, or related industrial settings is beneficial.
