The Royal Caribbean Group's IT Enterprise Product Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Lead Engineer reporting to the AVP, Technology Transformation Programs.
The position is onsite and based in Miramar, Florida.

Position Summary
The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide solution architecture initiatives across Oracle enterprise applications, middleware platforms, and integrated ecosystems. This strategic role operates as a trusted technology advisor, guiding complex transformation programs that span Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, EPM, and AI-enabled capabilities. The position is highly visible, influencing senior leadership decisions, aligning with enterprise architecture standards, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and business-aligned. Candidates must bring deep expertise in solution design, hybrid delivery leadership, integration platforms, and AI-enabled optimization in a global enterprise setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define and lead solution architecture for Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, EPM), ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to develop integrated system landscapes, data flow models, and reusable design patterns.
  • Establish and enforce architecture principles, integration practices, and technology roadmaps to ensure scalability, security, and consistency.
  • Drive adoption of AI, machine learning, and automation within Oracle ecosystems to enhance workflows, analytics, and enterprise decision-making.
  • Architect complex integration solutions leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and middleware technologies to enable seamless interoperability.
  • Manage hybrid delivery across onshore, offshore, and partner teams, providing technical guidance, governance, and accountability for design quality.
  • Translate business objectives and requirements into executable technical designs, integration models, and implementation plans for large-scale programs.
  • Lead architecture governance, review forums, and decision-making processes to minimize risks and resolve technical dependencies.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to IT and business executives, facilitating stakeholder alignment and communicating architecture plans in clear business terms.
  • Mentor internal teams and partners on architectural best practices, AI-enabled optimization patterns, and disciplined engineering standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or Oracle certifications preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT, solution architecture, integration strategies, and technology transformation.
  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SCM, EPM solutions at an enterprise scale.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders and influencing strategic technology and architecture decisions.
  • Track record of managing hybrid delivery models that include internal teams, offshore partners, and systems integrators.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions, and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs).
  • Experienced in middleware and enterprise integration using Oracle Integration Cloud and related platforms.
  • Skilled in AI-enabled enterprise solution design, automation, predictive analytics, and embedded AI patterns.
  • Knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, and secure integration models.
  • Executive presence with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business leaders.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead through influence, mentor diverse teams, and manage across global delivery models.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
