A leading New York based global apparel licensing company are looking for a Technical Designer to join the team. You will support design and ensure that creative visions translate seamlessly into high-quality garments. Client Details Our client is a leading apparel licensing organization who pride themselves on long-standing relationships in the industry both nationally and internationally.

Description Responsible for executing fit comments, assisting in the creation of technical packages, ensuring garments meet fit, construction, and quality standards from development through production. Spec and fit approvals for pre-production, final production samples from out-sourcing makers. Work with designers, production coordinators for fitting and construction comments.

Support the creation and maintenance of detailed technical specification packages. Track and manage tech packs and fit samples through the approval process with overseas factory partners. Collaborate closely with Design and Production teams during fittings to ensure alignment on fit and construction.

Review garments for fit, construction, and quality, ensuring consistency throughout development and production stages Create final graded size spec. Assist designers for new design style and initial specs. Profile A successful Technical Designer should have: Formal education in pattern making and apparel production.

Understanding of pattern making, sewing, and garment specifications. Experience with knits, wovens and sweater experience. Desirable: kids, men's and juniors licensed apparel experience.
