Job description

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Transporter for our Internal Transport Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Transporter you will:
• Transports patient to and from locations in the hospital.
• Performs other duties such as organizing and distributing schedules, maintaining transportation supplies, assisting on the nursing units when available
Qualifications include:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to prioritize and report observed changes in patient condition or behavior to RN
• Experience in clinical care setting preferred
• The ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Skills in talking to others to effectively convey information.
Work Schedule:
1PM to 930pm with every other weekend.
  • Employment Type: Part-time
  • Hours per Week: 24hrs/week
  • Typical Daily Schedule: 1pm-9:30pm
  • Shift Type: Evening
  • Holiday Requirements: Every Other Weekend
  • Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $22.79
