Job Summary


The Patient Transport Liaison gathers, inventories, checks and inspects patient transportation equipment to ensure safe and adequate supplies and safely transports patients to various units within the organization.ย 


PATIENT TRANSPORT LIAISON Proficiency Level EQUIPMENT:

Checks equipment for malfunctions or necessary repairs; reports/ requests need for repair to appropriate department. Maintains reserve wheelchair, stretcher and O2 inventory to ensure adequate supply. Organizes and maintains - equipment hallway storage area to ensure fire and safety compliance. Fills portable O2 and maintains inventory of oxygen canisters and regulators. Removes and fills portable O2 and maintains inventory of oxygen canisters and - regulators.ย 


TRANSPORTING:

Utilizes Transport Tracking appropriately to ensure maximum quality, efficiency and service delivery. Proactively calls in to tracking system before - being paged for dispatch.ย
