Summary:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for greeting patients, managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, activating and maintaining patient files, and providing administrative support for patients and clinical staff. This position serves as the first point of contact for the clinic and ensures accurate registration, efficient clinic flow, and compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements of safe, timely, and patient-centered care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Associate Degree preferred.
ESSENTIALS:
1. Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
2. Current Heartsaver CPR/AED or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, or ability to obtain certification within thirty (30) days of hire.
3. Certification must be maintained throughout employment in accordance with clinic policy.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Six (6) months experience required in a similar service-orientated industry.
2. One (1) year related work experience preferred.
