The Patient Safety Insights Consultant Senior is responsible for advancing enterprise clinical quality strategies through the application of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and performance improvement methodologies designed to identify, measure, improve quality outcomes and reduce preventable harm.

How you will make an impact:

  • Developing and refining patient safety and quality improvement measurement methodologies, predictive models, and performance reporting.
  • Leading complex analyses to identify quality improvement opportunities and emerging patient safety risks; designing and evaluating intervention strategies
  • Providing analytical consultation to support enterprise priorities; conducting applied research and outcomes measurement
  • Assessing the value and limitations of data sources and methodologies
  • Translating analytical findings into strategic recommendations; and partnership with internal and external stakeholders to drive measurable improvements in quality, affordability, patient safety and healthcare outcomes.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and thought leader supporting innovation, strategy development, and continuous improvement across one or more areas of clinical quality.

Minimum requirements:

  • Requires a master's degree in a healthcare-related or quantitative field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, healthcare analytics, managed care, population health, patient safety or related healthcare experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Expertise clinical data strategy is highly preferred.
  • Skilled with translating complex data to clinical team & leadership is preferred.
  • Experienced delivering clear, structured weekly presentations and updates is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: advanced Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau are highly preferred.
  • Advanced predictive modeling experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 112,800 to $203,040

Locations: New Jersey, New York, California, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts and Columbus, OH.
