Overview
Patient Safety Companion
UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's - Sioux City Downtown
Hours: Full Time, 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts
Schedule: Nights 7pm-7:30am; rotating weekends and holidays
Provides continuous observation and monitoring of patients at risk of self-harm, wandering, or injury to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment and support delivery of care. Under the direction of a care team member, monitors and documents patient behavior, and redirects or de-escalates as appropriate.
