Senior Polysomnographic Technologist Opportunity

Senior Polysomnographic Technologist opportunity alert โ€” take your career to the next level with a dynamic healthcare organization delivering exceptional sleep diagnostics and life-changing patient outcomes in a thriving coastal community. The Senior Polysomnographic Technologist will join a mission-driven, patient-first health system known for clinical excellence, strong safety scores, and measurable quality outcomes. This respected healthcare organization has earned a reputation for compassionate, high-value care, ongoing investment in advanced sleep and monitoring technology, and a culture that prioritizes innovation, professional autonomy, and collaboration. The Senior Sleep Technician will benefit from streamlined workflows, modern diagnostic equipment, interdisciplinary teamwork, and leadership that actively supports continuing education, specialty certifications, and career advancement. With a focus on clinical quality, patient experience, and evidence-based protocols, the Lead Polysomnographic Tech will practice in an environment designed for both professional growth and meaningful impact.

The Senior Polysomnographic Technologist will be part of a comprehensive Sleep Center within Sleep Services that operates as a rural, non-profit health system serving the southern Oregon coast. This Sleep Center is proud to provide quality, 4-star-rated care close to home while making major investments in advanced technology to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort. As part of Sleep Services, the Senior Polysomnographic Technician will contribute to a program committed to keeping community healthcare dollars local, expanding access to specialized sleep studies, and ensuring patients receive high-quality care without leaving their coastal communities.

Reporting to departmental leadership within Sleep Services, the Senior Polysomnographic Technologist will provide advanced polysomnographic testing, scoring, patient education, and mentorship to fellow technologists. The Senior Sleep Technician will collaborate closely with board-certified sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, registered nurses, and a diverse team of allied health professionals dedicated to coordinated, patient-centered care. This Lead Polysomnographic Tech will support quality assurance initiatives, maintain accreditation standards, assist with training new staff, and contribute to process improvement efforts, all while working alongside friendly nurses and an inclusive, supportive healthcare team.

Located in southern coastal Oregon, the Senior Polysomnographic Technologist will enjoy a lifestyle defined by breathtaking ocean views, scenic hiking trails, and year-round outdoor recreation including kayaking, fishing, and beachcombing. The region offers a relaxed pace of life, affordable housing options compared to larger metropolitan areas, welcoming neighborhoods, and excellent access to parks and green space. Residents appreciate local farmers markets, fresh coastal cuisine, art galleries, community festivals, and a growing small-business scene. With short commute times, clean air, strong community connections, and proximity to regional airports and higher education institutions, southern coastal Oregon offers an exceptional balance of career growth and coastal living.

The Senior Polysomnographic Technologist will receive competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and professional development support. This healthcare organization values its clinical professionals and offers clear pathways for advancement and leadership growth.
