Full-Time Medical Equipment Delivery Driver/Field Technician

Owens, a Friesen Group Company, has been serving patients and healthcare providers throughout Northern California and the Reno region for more than 60 years. We deliver specialized medical equipment and customized healthcare solutions that help individuals live safely and comfortably at home. Our services include respiratory therapies, CPAP and BiPAP support, non-invasive ventilation, airway clearance therapies, capnography, and other essential patient care solutions.

About the Role

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Field Technician to support patients and healthcare partners throughout the Reno area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, interacting with people, and performing hands-on work that directly improves patient well-being.

As a Field Technician, you will deliver and install medical equipment, provide instruction to patients and caregivers, and help ensure equipment is operating safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Transport, install, retrieve, and service durable medical equipment and supplies.
  • Deliver products such as oxygen equipment, hospital beds, mobility devices, and related items.
  • Train patients and caregivers on proper equipment usage and safety practices.
  • Complete service records, delivery documentation, and patient-related paperwork accurately.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Provide excellent customer service in homes, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent service requests when scheduled.
  • Follow all company procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
