Medical Registration Clerk (PRN)


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Registration Clerk to join our healthcare team. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our patient registration process. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate patient information management.


Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information

- Register patients into the hospital or clinic's electronic health record system accurately and efficiently

- Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Respond to patient inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments

- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the registration department

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Previous experience in medical office administration or registration preferred

- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic office software

- Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) and adapt to varying schedules
