• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately identify the individual needs and goals of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Design customized treatment plans leveraging evidence-based therapeutic interventions that meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions using techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate personal breakthroughs.
• Lead group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and support, enhancing the recovery journey for participants.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive care and improve patient outcomes.
• Deliver crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to aid their journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Engage actively in team collaborations, case discussions, and continuing education opportunities to continually enhance your professional skills.
• Stay informed on the latest research, treatment methodologies, and advancements in substance use disorder care to inform your practice.

Your focus will primarily be on individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. You will work closely with patients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their path to recovery by providing ongoing support and guidance tailored to their specific cultural and personal contexts.

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.
• A genuine commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journey through innovative and empathetic treatment approaches.

• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, particularly in the field of substance use disorders or mental health.
• Demonstrated experience conducting group therapy sessions and supporting individuals in crisis.
• Knowledge of local community resources and networks available to assist patients and their families in recovery.
