Assistant Professor- Pathology
Positions involves clinical and teaching components. Clinical duties dermatopathology, general surgical pathology as well as specialty, on-call rotation, and may include multiple site assignments. Teaching involves both classroom instruction and clinical setting mentoring/education of medical students and residents. Participation in clinical research encouraged.
Location MUSOM - Marshall University School of Medicine Salary Range Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity
Qualifications
Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Required medical degree or foreign equivalent.
Experience
  • Pathology residency
  • Dermatopathology fellowship
  • Must be able to obtain West Virginia medical license
  • Anatomic Pathology board certification required
Preferred Qualifications
Education
  • Dermatopathology certification
Experience
  • Anatomic Clinical Pathology certification preferred
