Position Summary

We’re seeking a Part-Time Home Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing therapy team in the Wichita area. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide individualized therapy services that support patients with communication, speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs in the home health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes
• Assist patients in improving communication, cognitive, and swallowing skills as directed by the SLP
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress and condition changes in a timely manner
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home exercises, and communication strategies
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach during all visits

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (required)
• Active Kansas SLPA license/certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of SLPA experience preferred
• Previous pediatric or adult therapy experience preferred
• Home health experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and compassionate
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
