Job description

SRA ATTENDANT- WILL REPORT TO HILL COUNTY SAFETY REST AREA IN HILLSBORO/ABBOTT, TX

Purpose

Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition.

**Due the nature of or program, persons with a disability will be considered first.

Job Duties

  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Gather and empty trash from inside restrooms and the grounds outside.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Weed flower beds.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Complete Bloodborne Pathogen training.
Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Be able to pass a background check and screening requirements as required by contract and company standards.
