Job description

Purpose:

Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition.

**Due the nature of our program, persons with a disability will be considered first.

  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Keep the outside of building and grounds free of litter and debris.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Complete Bloodborne Pathogen training.
Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Be able to pass a background check and screening requirements as required by contract and company standards.
