Job Description

Kawasaki Robot Programmer

Location: Normal, IL

Salary: $70K to $150K (Benefits, Medical Insurance, Paid Leaves, Bonus)

Kawasaki Robot skills with vision/Keyence.

  • Robotics Engineering Services shall include but are not limited to:
  • Create and/or modify teach pendant programs and/or macros which illustrate path planning as defined in the the global robotics standard
  • Support on-site testing and implementation of the global robotics standards
  • Robot programming and teaching as needed
  • Robot setup and commissioning activities such as creating tool center points ("TCP"), user frame definitions, verification of robot mastering, initialization of robot Transmission Control Protocol/ Internet Protocol ("IP") commutations between robot and end devices etc.
  • Perform robot safety buyoffs and make any necessary changes to conform to the global robot safety standard
  • Review and optimize robot paths while ensuring it conforms to the global robotics standard
  • Ongoing continuous improvement of robot programing to achieve better part quality while lowering cycle times
  • Assist, support and train the maintenance and engineering personal as needed during commissioning activities \
  • Leverage industry experience and best practices to help optimize the production process Kaizen (continuous improvement) of all applicable the standards and processes
