REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should have a background in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or related fields and prior patent prosecution experience. Strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. At least an M.S. or M.Eng. in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience, is preferred.

A successful candidate who is not a registered patent agent will be expected to take and to pass the USPTO registration exam within one year of being hired. Candidates are encouraged to review the USPTO eligibility criteria prior to applying.
