Job description

Role and Responsibilities as Family Ministry Administrative Assistant
The primary function of the Family Ministry Admin. Asst. is to provide administrative support and assistance to the family and student ministries in the following ways:
  • Support ministry leaders in areas such as volunteer recruitment, training, onboarding, communication, and ministry development.
  • Run and review all family ministry volunteers' background checks.
  • Administrate the Ministry Safe training process for all Family Ministry volunteers.
  • Assist family ministry leaders with weekly administrative needs.
  • Assist Student Ministry teams with the administrative planning, logistics, registrations, supplies, and other operational needs for all camps and retreats.
  • Coordinate with the Kids Director & Family Pastor with the planning and execution of cbcKids Camp.
  • Partner with the Family Pastor in developing and implementing strategies that promote the spiritual health and effectiveness of CBC's family ministries.
  • Assist the Family Pastor in developing systems and processes that promote growth, health, and cohesiveness across CBC's family ministries
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating all family ministry safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide additional administrative support to family ministries as needed.

  • Maintain an authentic walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession of sin, fellowship and serving.
  • Be an active member of CBC of Savannah, growing in community with other believers.
  • Model a biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle and commit to moral purity.
  • Support and adheres to the mission, core values, and church distinctives of CBC of Savannah, including the CBC of Savannah Statement of Faith.
  • Attend and participate in all weekly staff meetings and worship gatherings.
