Position Summary:
The Student Girls Pastor-Cabot is responsible for leading the discipleship, care, and development of female students in grades 7โ12. This role combines relational ministry, volunteer development, administrative leadership, teaching, and pastoral care to help students and families take their next step in following Jesus. The ideal candidate is passionate about making disciples, developing leaders, and creating organizational systems that help ministry thrive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the Student Pastor in leading the student ministry by helping execute the vision and direction of the ministry, with primary responsibility for the discipleship and care of female students in grades 7โ12
- Serve as an occasional communicator at FSM by teaching 2โ3 times per semester
- Actively disciple and invest in junior high and high school female students
- Build relationships with female students by connecting with them regularly outside of Wednesday night gatherings
- Provide strong administrative and organizational leadership to support the planning, execution, and weekly flow of FSM on Wednesday nights and all special events
- Maintain a visible presence in the community by attending at least two student-related events each month (e.g., athletic events, concerts, performances, school activities, etc.)
- Recruit, develop, and support young adult and adult women to serve as FSM volunteers and FSM small group leaders
- Meet with female FSM small group leaders at least twice per semester to encourage, equip, and develop them in their leadership
- Engage with and help lead the Student Leadership Team throughout the school year
- Partner with parents by maintaining regular communication regarding the spiritual development of their students
- Oversee communication with female small group leaders and assist with volunteer coordination
- Manage and maintain the FSM cafรฉ, including inventory, organization, and lead and recruit cafรฉ volunteers
- Assist with FSM social media content and communication efforts
- Assist with churchwide pastoral responsibilities as needed, including baptisms, counseling, connection center support, and other ministry opportunities
- Participate in weekly Cabot Campus staff meetings and contribute to the overall mission and ministry of the campus
- Actively engage with students, families, and guests on Sunday mornings through relationship-building, hospitality, and ministry presence
- Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education and Experience:
- Required โ Bachelorโs degree
- Preferred โ 1 to 2 years of experience in student ministry
Knowledge and Skills:
- An obvious heart for students.
- Understands how to manage the tension of serving on multiple teams in the same context (multisite)
- Proven leader with strong administrative skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Constant learner who is eager to grow in ministry and leadership.
- Eager to recruit, develop, grow, and serve on a team.
- Strong people skills with staff, leaders, and parents.
- Good communication skills on stage, one-on-one, and written.
- Operates well in a team environment.

Work Schedule:
- 40-45 hours/wk. Sun-Thur with flexibility for evening and weekend events
