THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Technology (MarTech) Specialist to join our growing team and play an integral role in the daily operations and improvement of Insomniac's key digital marketing tools. This position will report to the Director, Marketing Technology and will work in-office at the Calabasas, CA location. This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead day-to-day operations & task execution across all applicable MarTech platforms (web, email, SMS, app, database) for assigned subset of events within the company portfolio
  • Key stakeholder in marketing meetings for assigned events, offering ideas and feedback to marketing leads, especially as pertains to MarTech products, and fulfilling external requests
  • Design front-facing elements of websites and email campaigns in alignment with brand identity
  • Track and analyze data of marketing technology performance, including engagement, revenue, user behavior, and artist scheduling data, to determine areas of improvement and success
  • Expert administrator of all platform CMS and cross-platform integrations
  • Event/artist content management for Insomniac festivals, branded shows, concerts, and clubs
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments, including marketing, social, tech, sponsorship, Shop, Passport, Music Group, talent, and production
  • Other special projects, support roles, and tasks assigned as needed
  • Some travel may be required (economy)


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years relevant working experience in web, marketing, and/or music
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly master new tools & understand inter-product relationships
  • Deep knowledge of electronic music, artists, genres, culture, and Insomniac brands
  • Excel at copywriting (spelling, grammar, sentence structure, etc.)
  • Excel at branded writing (marketing in the voice/tone of a distinct brand, character, etc.)
  • Excel at organization, both in a personal and collaborative team setting
  • Ability to multitask on fast-paced timelines, adapt quickly to change, and field requests from different teams simultaneously
  • Ability to systematically execute to perfection on tight deadlines
  • Experience with web CMS required
  • Experience with email marketing, Photoshop, HTML, Google Analytics preferred
  • Adaptability to execute tasks off-hours at short notice if needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
  • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

$68,000.00 USD - $85,000.00 USD
