Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

Work collaboratively with leadership to identify training needs. Develop a training curriculum for all new and existing employees. Utilize Customer Service/Insurance Recovery leadership as Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop and maintain instructional materials and procedures related to the activities within the Customer Service/CBO Insurance Recovery Department. Design course content, using information gained from requesting party through needs assessments. Evaluate the impact of delivered training programs by identifying criteria that can be used to assess the effectiveness of training. Plan training schedules considering operational needs. Facilitate training sessions for all Customer Service/Insurance Recovery staff directly or indirectly responsible for any customer/insurance recovery related activity. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 
  • Five (5) years of experience in the training field. 
  • One (1) year of curriculum development. 
  • Two (2) years of experience in a customer service environment with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. 
  • Prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position preferred. 
  • EPIC experience preferred. 
  • Excellent documentation skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Self-directed and self-motivated. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and discretion. 
  • Organizational and time management skills. 
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability. 
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, design, plan, organize, coordinate, implement, and perform necessary follow-up as related to documentation and support materials.
