Job Title

Litigation Attorney โ€“ General Liability / Transportation

Location

Hybrid-Remote (San Diego, CA 92130)

About the Role

Seeking Litigation Attorney with 3-6+ years of experience to handle general liability (auto, premises liability, construction defect) and complex liability matters for a hard-working, fast-paced, AV-rated law firm. Self-starting, solid work ethic candidate with experience in all aspects of litigation required, including investigation, research, analysis, discovery and motions. Candidate should have experience taking percipient/party/expert depositions and representing clients in mediations and court hearings. Excellent research and writing skills are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and represent clients in litigation cases, from pre-trial to post-trial.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to prepare for trials.
  • Provide clients with clear, strategic advice on legal matters.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • 3-6+ years of experience in relevant legal experience.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $130,000 - $185,000+, commensurate with experience.
