This role ensures that the vision, initiatives, and Catering operations are executed daily to reach our catering sales goal. It also ensures innovation, sales growth, and success in the Catering department.

Key Responsibilities and Disciplines - What responsibilities and leading disciplines (proactive actions to put on the calendar) will drive the key results?

  • Create & maintain an actionable 90-day plan each quarter.
  • Ensure that all third-party sales are rung every day.
  • Ensure that all catering orders are always confirmed and condiment bags are prepared for all orders.
  • Provide Catering projections for the following week to the Director of Operations for proper scheduling and deliveries.
  • Monthly sales are tracked into an appropriate Excel spreadsheet by the end of the month.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Grow and develop catering relationships through personal interactions, traditional marketing, and digital communication in correlation with corporate and local marketing strategies
  • Spearhead acquisition, production, delivery, and follow-up for all catering orders
  • Ensure tasks are completed properly in a timely manner, personally contributing to the completion of orders where required
  • Handle guest issues that may arise during the catering experience
  • Using suggestive selling, encourage guests to add items according to their guest count when confirming the order with either drinks, desserts, or additional food.
  • Keep an organized filing system for all catering forms by date.
  • Provide catering scripts to front counter team leaders for proper order taking.

  • Previous experience and knowledge in the catering industry
  • A desire to grow business and personal skills while thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle guest concerns, complaints, and issues by executing flawless follow-up and issue resolution
  • Responsible, accountable, and organized
