Position Summary

The ABA Therapy Talent Acquisition Recruiter supports organizational growth by recruiting qualified clinical staff to provide services. This position builds relationships with referral sources, community partners, and prospective employees to ensure center-based and in-home ABA programs are accessible, appropriately staffed, and aligned with client needs. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and highly communicative with sourcing, screening, and engaging Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStaff Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for clinical roles, including BCBAs, BCaBAs, BTs, RBTs, and related support positions.
  • Post and manage job openings on job boards, social media platforms, university career centers, professional networks, community groups, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, availability, professionalism, communication skills, and alignment with the organization's mission.
  • Coordinate interviews, as applicable for BCBAs/BCaBAs, between candidates and hiring managers, clinical leadership, or operations leadership.
  • Maintain regular candidate communication throughout the hiring process to create a professional and positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct reference checks, credential verification, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified BCBA, BT, and RBT candidates to support current and future staffing needs for center-based and in-home ABA programs.
  • Partner with leadership to understand caseload growth, geographic coverage needs, client schedules, clinical capacity, and recruitment priorities.
  • Track recruiting activity and metrics, including candidate leads, interviews, offers, hires, start dates, open positions, and time-to-fill.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, intake, scheduling, HR, and billing teams to align client growth with staffing capacity.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership regarding referral activity, hiring needs, recruiting challenges, and market trends.
  • Help balance recruitment efforts so that client acquisition and staff hiring support safe, ethical, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling candidate and employee information.
  • Ensure outreach and recruiting activities are consistent with company policies, ethical standards, HIPAA requirements, and applicable employment laws.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, psychology, communications, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in recruiting, healthcare recruitment, sales, community outreach, behavioral health, or ABA/autism services preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with candidates and internal team members.
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
  • Comfort using applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, spreadsheets, job boards, email, phone outreach, and basic reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge of ABA therapy, autism services, behavioral health, or healthcare staffing.
  • Experience recruiting BCBAs, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, therapists, paraprofessionals, or other healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with RBT certification requirements, BCBA credentialing, and ABA service delivery models.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • This role may include a combination of office-based work, center-based work, phone and email outreach, virtual meetings, and local travel. Local travel may be required for community events, school visits, provider meetings, college recruitment events, and job fairs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, and communicate by phone, email, video call, and in person for extended periods.
  • Some evening or weekend availability may be required for community events, or recruiting events.
Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by the Recruiter's ability to generate qualified clinical candidates, reduce time-to-fill for open positions, and support appropriate staffing levels for both center-based and in-home ABA services.
