You'll focus on reviewing private company (business) tax returns and individual tax returns, providing clear review notes, actionable feedback to preparers, and collaborating with client relationship managers to communicate findings and resolve tax issues.
This position is perfect for a professional who wants meaningful, technical work with predictable peak workloads and lighter off-season commitments.
What You'll Do

  • Review individual income tax returns (Form 1040 and associated schedules)
  • Provide detailed review notes and constructive feedback to preparers
  • Collaborate with client relationship managers to discuss findings, identify tax issues, and support client communication
  • Communicate review adjustments and tax implications clearly and professionally
  • Support the team during:

    • Mini Busy Season (August - October 5)
  • Optional part-time or project-based work outside of seasonal periods

Why Join Us

  • Focus on review-level, technical tax work
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment
  • Opportunities for part-time or project work outside peak seasons

What We're Looking For
  • Active CPA license
  • 4+ years of experience reviewing business and individual tax returns
  • Strong technical tax skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable review feedback to preparers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
