Job description

Position: Student Employee

Department: University Advancement

Classification: Part-time, Non-benefit eligible

Rate: IL State minimum wage

Duties: This student will be responsible for administrative duties and tasks on a daily basis;

managing phone calls, calendar scheduling, greeting individuals from events such as Phonathons,

Alumni Achievement Awards, Homecoming, Career Fairs, Scholarship Luncheon Campus Tours, etc.

The individual will represent Benedictine University in the most positive of manners to prospective,

former, and current students, clients, suppliers, stakeholders, employers, and the community.

Manage and oversee front office operations; phone calls, e-mails, calendar scheduling, etc.

  • Act as University Advancement Liaison across all constituents; students, faculty/staff, employers, alumn
  • Assist in preparations for University Advancement events; varies from administrative work to physical activity
  • Attend any and all University Advancement events in support and/or ambassador-type roles.
