Distribution Center Associate-PT

The Opportunity:

This is a part-time position, approximately 16-30 hours a week. Both opening and closing shifts are a possibility. Rio Grande is open from 7 AM - 7 PM M-F, with occasional weekend hours.

What You'll Do:

• Stock, pick, pack, or ship merchandise to meet our service-level agreement of same-day shipping for our customers
• Both Distribution Center and light Manufacturing work will be included. This role resources in multiple departments/teams.
• Work in a dynamic team environment and make decisions as a group
• Communicate effectively, clearly, and consistently with your team
• Meet accuracy and productivity standards

What You'll Need:

• Consistent work or school history that highlights your work ethic and commitment
• Distribution Center/warehouse and or manufacturing experience a plus
• Forklift experience a plus (training is provided)
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and self-management skills 
• Strong attention to detail, research, and problem-solving skills for continuous improvement
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email/Basic computer skills
• Ability to maintain or exceed productivity standard.
• Ability to meet required attendance standards
• Ability to work successfully within a team
• See mistakes as learning opportunities
• Be open to constructive feedback and discussion aimed at learning and improving

Environment:

• Rio Grande is a Metal Free operations environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand, bend, stoop, lift, reach, twist, and walk regularly throughout your shift
