Job description

Rockhurst University is seeking part-time instructors to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Available course subjects include Microsoft Excel for business analytics, business statistics, machine learning, project management, data visualization, and programming in R, Python, and SQL. Available courses include in-person (day and evening), hybrid, and online modalities.

Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct instructors are required to successfully complete onboarding materials, including FERPA and security training. Instructors facilitating online courses will be required to participate in peer mentoring to become online teaching certified. Other duties, including accreditation assessment, will be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

Candidates must have a graduate degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, analytics, or closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate-level related coursework. Please submit your resume/CV as well as a cover letter outlining your professional and teaching experience and subjects of interest, including any preference for modality or undergraduate/graduate courses.
