These roles can include software development, testing, support, or other IT-related tasks, and are often suitable for students, parents, or those seeking flexible work arrangements. To thrive as a Part-time Software Developer, you need strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, along with a relevant degree or proven coding experience. Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git), code collaboration tools, and basic knowledge of software development frameworks is typically required. Time management, adaptability, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for balancing multiple projects and collaborating remotely or within diverse teams. These skills ensure productivity, code quality, and successful project delivery despite limited working hours.
