Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated, resourceful, and sharp IT Support Technician to provide on-site technical support at our Montreal office.
This is a flexible, part-time position operating on a casual/as-needed basis, averaging up to 1 to 2 days per week depending on operational needs and office deployments. It is a perfect fit for a tech-savvy individual looking for a versatile role in a creative and highly technological environment.
This role goes far beyond traditional IT ticketing. You will be our go-to, semi-internal resource handling day-to-day office needs, working alongside our external IT provider and office coordinator.

Provide quick, efficient, and friendly Tier 1 (day-to-day) tech support to on-site employees.
Take ownership of conference room setups—proactively troubleshooting ongoing issues (audio/video, projection, and Teams/Zoom connectivity).
Maintain general office IT health, including internet connectivity, printers, and general peripheral troubleshooting.
2. Workstation & Equipment Management
Set up, configure, maintain, and image workstations (PC and Mac) for existing staff and onboarding new hires.
Manage, wire, and physically organize network equipment and hardware at the office.
Assist with routine physical security backups and local data maintenance.
Qualifications & Profile
Practical IT experience, currently pursuing or possessing a background in an IT-related field (Computer Science, Software/IT Engineering, or a DEC/AEC in Network Administration / IT Support).
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with both Windows and macOS environments.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, routers, cabling, IP addresses).
Comfort setting up and troubleshooting hardware, audio/video gear, and office equipment.
Core Competencies:
Resourcefulness & Fast Learner
Highly motivated and capable of working independently as the main IT contact on-site.
A genuine interest in creative environments, media infrastructure, and an aspiration to learn DevOps methodologies.
Work Conditions
Employment Status: Part-Time / Casual Employee (Salarié sur appel / à horaire variable).
Hours: Variable based on office needs, averaging up to 1 to 2 days per week (approximately 8 to 15 hours/week). No fixed weekly minimum is guaranteed.
Flexibility: Adaptable scheduling to accommodate academic course blocks or exam schedules, with the ability to adjust availability from semester to semester.
Location: On-site at our Montreal office.
