What Role You Will Play On Our Team
The Pipeline Systems Design & Delivery Advanced Engineer provides technical leadership of internal and external resources through all stages of asset development and operation, inclusive of technology & commercialization and capabilities of less experienced engineers within their technical discipline
What You Will Do
- Apply broad technical and business skills and expertise to solve more complex problems. Lead team in resolving technical challenges
-Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for application of established, adapted, and new technologies
- Represent EM in interactions with key competitors, partners, joint ventures, industry associations, academia, and industry forums
- Evaluate the strengths and shortcomings inherent in different pipeline and riser design philosophies
- Lead revision to company standards and / or industry practices
- Participate in industry activities (e.g. JIPs, Conferences, industry associations)
- Demonstrate capability to influence without direct authority
- Mentors less experienced engineers; develop capabilities of less experienced engineers within their technical discipline
- Expand sphere of influence beyond core technical discipline
- Provide input on opportunities for enhanced business performance through pursuit of new technology or adaptation of existing technologies
About You
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree required
  • Demonstrated technical and/or leadership capability
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyze and discuss complex concepts effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute to success of a team
  • Working knowledge of pipeline and/or deepwater riser systems, including design, installation, and operation
  • Experience with integrity management of pipeline and riser systems.
  • Working knowledge of applying pipeline and riser engineering codes & standards, such as API, ASME, DNV codes.
  • Experience with riser, pipeline, or structural analysis software programs such as OrcaFlex, Abaqus, DNV Fat Free, etc.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience
  • 5-15 years of experience
