Clarvida is seeking candidates for non-paid internship and practicum opportunities for first and second master's level students.
Clarvida provides a unique unpaid internship opportunity to work within our Specialty Mental Health Program. As an intern, you will gain valuable experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to the lives of children, adolescents currently diagnosed with behavioral health conditions.
These internships provide direct learning opportunities in the areas of psychotherapy, behavioral health and case management, with the provision of individual therapy, early intervention and psychoeducation services within a multidisciplinary team environment.
The internship program provides students with the chance to earn academic credit while gaining practical experience, particularly those pursuing master's degrees in social work or psychology. Location Bakersfield Ca.
As our Therapist Intern, under direct supervision, you will conduct the initial behavioral health assessment and engage the client in development of a treatment plan noting their strengths, challenges, and support systems. You will meet with the client regularly, providing individual, family, and/or group counseling. and regularly assess their strengths and mental health treatment needs. Part time 20 hours a week.
