Job description

Fuel the Mission - Master the Schedule, Power Special Operations!
Job Summary:
Alluvionic is seeking a Lead Schedule Analyst to create and manage integrated master schedule(s) that captures Johns Hopkins University Special Projects operations in the Applied Physics Lab. The Schedule Analyst (SA) shall develop, integrate, and manage the JHU Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), as well as develop recurring schedules to support studies. This includes special schedule "what-if" scenarios to facilitate analysis of partner business cases, alternatives, and options. The SA will interface with JHU project stakeholders for communication and integration of technical data and milestones will be required to directly interface with stakeholders for source data. There will be weekly exchanges with leadership and monthly status reports as well as regular updates. The SA will assist leadership to develop strategic data products that will be used to communicate, coordinate, and deconflict activities of JHU partners, programs, and services. The SA will develop recurring schedules to support studies. This includes special schedule "what-if" scenarios to facilitate analysis of partner business cases, alternatives, and options. The SA will train personnel (both contractor and government personnel) in the use of the scheduling software suite.

Responsibilities:
  • The SA must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience using various scheduling software packages such as, but not limited to, Milestone Professional, Visual Planning, Primavera, MS Project, and Smartsheet. The SA must demonstrate they have experience in schedule integration of complex operational and/or infrastructure development projects.
  • The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • The candidate must be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
  • The candidate must be Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • The Planning & Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP ) certification experience is desired.
  • The candidate must be a US citizen.
  • The candidate must be fluent in American English, both written and spoken, grammar, spelling and technical report writing.
  • Dress code is business casual

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience using various scheduling software tools, including but not limited to:
    • Milestone Professional
    • Visual Planning
    • MS Project
    • Smartsheet
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience with schedule integration of complex operational and/or infrastructure development projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
  • Excellent command of American English - written, verbal, grammar, and technical report writing.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Planning & Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP ) Certification is highly desired.
