  • Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with database management systems such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
 

  • Understanding of market data, trading systems, and financial instruments related to oil and gas.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
  • Proven experience in building, operating, and supporting robust and performant databases and data pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (React preferred).
  • Familiarity with database systems. Full-stack development experience is helpful.
  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization, security, and best practices.
