Job description

General Summary:

Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist are responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. As time allows, the receptionist assist with Human Resources functions as part of the Human Resources team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate division; greets and directs visitors to the office; takes and retrieves messages for various personnel; provides callers with information such as office address, directions to the organization location, organization website, and other related information; maintains security by assessing threats and advising investigative staff of issues that require immediate attention.
  • Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail; assist in the ordering receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies; assist with other related clerical duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required Education/Experience:

Hours:

  • This is a full time, in-person position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.

Salary (Starting):

  • $22.44 hourly/$46,675.20 annually
