Job description

Suarez Physical Therapy (SPT) is searching for a licensed, energetic massage therapist who is motivated and eager to grow in a well-respected PT clinic.

Our SPT family is caring and professional. Our “Care.Experience”, compassionate, consistent, and confident brand begins from the time the patient is greeted by our receptionist until their happily escorted out by their treating PT at discharge. When a client comes to us, they experience care in ways that make them part of our family. Our low patient-to-clinician ratio adds to our Care.Experience brand delivery.

We currently have four locations (Sunset, South Cimarron, North Durango, Lake Mead). You may be asked to temporarily work at all three, until your training is complete. Currently, we are looking for a massage therapist to work up to 10-hour shifts on Tuesday and Thursday at our Lake Mead office. This schedule is concrete.

Job Description:

1. Current Nevada State Massage Therapy License, with a Medical Massage Certification preferred.

2. Massage Therapists (MTs) are paid a flat rate per patient seen.

3. MTs are to treat patients at the direction of a supervising PT; moreover, ONLY massage body parts that are designated under the PTs prescribed treatment plan.

5. Suarez PT provides all necessary supplies, including a high-low adjustable table. It is the MTs responsibility to maintain appropriate stock of linen, paper face shields, cleaning supplies, and massage lotion and let our office manager know when supplies are running low. NO MASSAGE OILS!

6. MT is responsible to find coverage for his/her schedule when ill, planning a vacation, and/or attending continuing education courses, etc. NO EXCEPTIONS!
